HOW IT ALL STARTED

In 2019, I came out of the "anti"-vax closet
& it changed my life forever.

I was mortified at what I had learned. 

And I immediately began "shouting from the rooftops" what I’d learned on social media and talking about it with everyone and anyone who would listen. 


Fast forward six months and there I was on a college campus desperately advocating for our rights to our bodies, our blood, our autonomy, our medical freedom, our religious rights, our student rights, and educational freedom here in Maine. 


I was literally involved like I'd never thought I'd be involved in something. 

It changed the trajectory of my family's life; specifically, what I was doing & what I will do.

I'm so proud of that person that I was in those six months; so exhausted, so tired, and so depleted... yet I still spoke up.  

Even though I felt so ostracized and alone,
I didn’t give up or give in. 


My Facebook following, my family, and likely everyone thought I was absolutely out of my mind daring to question this 'life saving medicine' ...


When you begin to inform yourself about the risks of vaccinations, you have to get past the cognitive dissonance (the mental discomfort of holding differing beliefs) to see that there are indeed deadly risks associated with injecting yourself or children with these man made products.


Not a single one of them are perfect. 

You probably already know that now, because 2020...

What an awakening that year was huh?

I'll never forget the madness we all experienced.

Are you still recovering from watching the conformity too?

Have you declared to never comply that way again?

-- or maybe you've recently decided not to consent to any (more) vaccinations ...  I was there too. 

I’m thanking myself now for what I started when I felt alone, disempowered, & different in a bad way.

To the LEADER Maria who gathered 10 FB friends who she knew were like minded and also segregated and feeling dread because of the loss of the right to free public education. 


To the MOTHER Maria who walked herself down to NICU without a nurse or anyone's help 8 hrs after a c-section to say NO - with inserts in my hand, making the doctors question themselves with the knowledge that I brought forth. 


Thank you, past self, for raising your voice and using your skills in building communities.


Most importantly I'm grateful for the version of me that decided to lead FREEDOM KEEPERS & SEEKERS forward as a beacon to other mamas who’s instincts tell you to hold faith, for God has bigger plans.

Mama, when those icky feelings grip your heart because you know so many dark truths, you feel so alone with the knowledge, and it haunts you...

I know, because I've been there, and that's when I made a decision to make a community for myself. 

At first, I started with a Facebook group chat for friends, then I opened a statewide Facebook group for homeschoolers in Maine and it grew to 1.4k in less than 3 years. 

In each of my communities, the goal has been to create a home for those awakening to the madness or segregated from public schools. A home where you felt seen and heard, not ostracized and outcasted.
